Siete Family Foods launches new Grain Free Tortilla Chips

Look out chip aisle, there are new players in town! While we’ve recently seen a prevalence of grain-free snacks to munch on, Siete Family Foods has taken it a step further with grain-free tortilla chips made from anti-inflammatory ingredients like cassava flour.

Over the summer I tried Siete’s grain free tortillas, which I loved, so I was thrilled to learn about their new line of chips and even more thrilled to try them!

Made with cassava flour, avocado oil, and other real food ingredients, the chips come in three classic flavor varieties: Sea Salt, Nacho, and Lime. With demand for anti-inflammatory and better-for-you snacks on the rise, Siete’s chips satisfy both taste and dietary needs.

My favorite flavor is Sea Salt. It tastes like a fresh tortilla chip you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. The avocado oil gives it a delicious and slightly oily flavor that I love. These are my new favorite chips! We served them during Sunday’s football party and our friends devoured them! I will definitely be getting more before our Superbowl party!

All three varieties of Siete Grain Free Tortilla Chips are Non-GMO Project Verified, Gluten-Free Certified, and are completely free of corn, wheat, rice, beans, soy, and dairy. The paleo and vegan-friendly chips are perfect for snacking straight out of the bag, as well as for pairing with fresh salsa or guacamole, yum!

Siete Grain Free Tortilla Chips will be available for purchase at Whole Foods Market locations nationwide starting January 2017 (SRP $4.99) and I saw them at my local Whole Foods for the first time yesterday! Click here to find a location nearest you.

I've been on a gluten free diet since January 2009. It's been an adventure, and a challenge at times. I love to go to new restaurants and try new foods, and being gluten free can make eating out difficult at times. But I will not let my dietary restrictions get in my way of finding new restaurants and products. These are my stories of being a young women in a big city, eating out and trying new foods, all while NOT eating gluten. Like I said, it's an adventure and you are welcome to come along... Please note that as I try to eat gluten free 100% of the time, my intolerance is not as severe as others so please use caution when dining at restaurants that are not certified gluten free.
