This year, Pamela’s is proud to celebrate 26 years in gluten free. With the #1 selling Baking & Pancake Mix and top-selling Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookie, Pamela’s products have proven that gluten-free can be delicious. Pamela’s entire line of baking mixes, cookies, fig bars, and snack bars are power-sellers, extending beyond the allergy-free marketplace.
Pamela’s recently sent me their All-Purpose Artisan Flour Blend, which is a gluten free, wheat free, dairy free, nut free, corn free, and soy free flour blend that works as a cup for cup flour replacement in most recipes.
I also tried the new Figgies & Jammies, which are Pamela’s gluten free, wheat free, and egg free version of traditional fig bar cookies. Pamela’s Figgies & Jammies are the first nationally launched gluten free fig bar cookies on the market! Figgies & Jammies are similar to Fig Newtons and are available in four flavors: Blueberry & Fig, Mission Fig, Raspberry & Fig, and Strawberry & Fig.
If you liked Fig Newton’s then you MUST try Pamela’s Figgies & Jammies. I think these are even BETTER than the traditional ones. The strawberry flavor was my favorite; even Jeremy enjoyed them so much that I had to hide the rest from him!
One of Pamela’s top sellers are their Whenever Bars, a gluten free, non-dairy snack bar made with gluten free oats, chia seeds, and lightly sweetened with agave and sugar, Whenever Bars offer a healthy, great tasting snack whenever you want one. The only downside is 8-10g of sugar per bar, I try to stick to 6g or less per serving. But, this is much better than most bars out there on the market with 15 grams or more of sugar per serving.
Whenever bars come in four flavors: Oat Blueberry Lemon, Oat Chocolate Chip Coconut, Oat Cranberry Almond, and Oat Raisin Walnut Spice.
The Oat Chocolate Chip Coconut was delicious and is not overly sweet, so it can be enjoyed in the morning, afternoon, or evening.
Pamela uses only premium ingredients, locally sourced when possible. She personally develops all product recipes and chooses the ingredients carefully, ensuring that her products are free of artificial additives, high fructose corn syrup, and free of hydrogenated oils and trans fats. They have statements from all their suppliers that to the best of their knowledge, their ingredient is free of GMOs, and Pamela’s randomly performs 3rd party testing on products to ensure they are GMO-free. They have also officially joined the Non-GMO Project where several of their products are undergoing the extensive verification process.
